Welcome to Straume Bobilplass
We are a small local caravan and motorhome site located in the beautiful Bø in Vesterålen. The site is run on a voluntary basis, with the income going to strengthen our local community. The site is situated by the beautiful Saltvatnet nature reserve, where you have the opportunity to observe an amazing fauna with rich birdlife or you can fish for trout/sea trout by purchasing a fishing permit.
Bø is a municipality in Nordland county, which is located furthest west in Vesterålen. The municipality includes the southwestern part of Langøya, as well as 438 smaller islands, islets and reefs around. Bø is located on the north side of Vesterålsfjorden/Eidsfjorden and stretches east to Møklandsfjorden in the north and Hellfjorden in the south. Bø borders Øksnes in the northeast and Sortland in the east. In the southeast it borders Hadsel in Vesterålsfjorden/Eidsfjorden. Straume is the municipal center in Bø municipality.
